• i felt like it was time for a proper introduction- hi! i’m Rachel, I’m so glad you’re here! My heart is rooted in my faith and creativity. Art has always been a deep part of who I am — a way for me to reflect, express, and connect. From the time I was little, I’ve felt deeply connected to color, beauty, and expression. Over the years, I’ve grown to love oil painting for its richness and ability to capture emotion and atmosphere, but do love to dabble in other mediums from time to time! I’m originally from the Seattle area, now living in beautiful northern Idaho. The nature in both places — from the misty evergreen shorelines of the PNW, to the peaceful lakes and wild hills of Idaho — has deeply influenced my art. My work is often inspired by those quiet, sacred moments found in His Creation. Above all, I love Jesus with all that I am. My relationship with Him shapes everything I do, and my prayer is that my art reflects His beauty, peace, and presence. I’m also a nurse working in women and infant health, a job I hold close to my heart. And when I’m not painting or working, I’m soaking in sweet moments with my husband and our one-year-old son, Shepherd. I have a love for vintage treasures and cozy home décor — the little things that make a space feel warm and full of story. So grateful you’re here. I pray that through my art, you see glimpses of Jesus — His kindness, His beauty, and His love for you. xx

a little bit of change around here felt right! over the past year I have learned so much- in becoming a mother, settling back into my job as a nurse, and finding balance for myself and family, I have needed to really choose the things that fill me up, not the things that drain me. my passion has always been in my art. creating brings me so much joy and excitement, but also gives me permission to rest. and I am so grateful I get to share this creativity with you all. my love for vintage still stands as strong as ever.
